International Widows Day (June 23) is an occasion marked by women’s groups around the world. This day is also celebrated at the United Nations and many countries as a national holiday. When women on all continents, often divided by national boundaries and ethnic, linguistic, cultural, economic and political differences, come together to celebrate their day, they can look back on a tradition that at least nine decades of fighting for equality represents justice, peace and development.
Shrimati Pushpa Wat Loomba Trust in collaboration with the fourth International Women’s Overseas Indian Facilitation Centre (OIFC) organizing charity STAGG residence of Sir Richard, British High Commissioner to India, with a conscious effort to make women aware of the need to seriously look at improving their health. The program was then suspended in lunch from home. Mr. Mukul Anand and Mrs. Khanna Neenu of Immaculate explained the need to celebrate such a day where women can always bring a knowledge of the problems, solutions can be debated and developed. As part of the celebration, SL Bambri (Country Head of Loomba Trust), Ms Shubham Rajan (Director of Overseas Indian Facilitation Centre and the Confederation of Indian Industry) also attended the event. Speaking of, from Immaculate Mr.Mukul Anand said: “International Day of Widows, we hope to mobilize public and private resources into tangible benefits for widows, such as education to a more reliable future plans to offer the world’s most vulnerable people to secure the life of poverty and the poor will not be sent. “He shared the bed linen and towels all the widows and children there.
He has also contributed to the announcement of a free course for widows and their children from the Institute of Real Estate Finance and Investment, to help disadvantaged children get education so that they can work and be able to support their families.
